Dr. Kinlaw is not going to remember me. But I’m alive today because of him. I had just returned from a nightmare trip to Jamaica. I had contacted some kind of awful skin condition. Boils, painful, itchy, just horrific. Mostly on arms and legs and head. It was spreading. I was feverish and sick. I was taken to the hospital with nowhere else to go! So scared, I felt like I had terrible blood poisoning. And then an angel of mercy came into the room. Dr. Kinlaw. He knew what it was and what to do right away. He gave me a shot. Two medications. I was on my way to sepsis the bites or whatever they were had gotten so infected. He knew I had nowhere to go because the person bringing me to the ER was abusing me all the way there. He had them bring me lunch and dinner. And found a place for me to go. This man is like no other ER doctor I have ever encountered. I would have died without him. So many ER Drs don’t care. Knox Kinlaw saved my life. I will never forget him. It was 2008. I just found him online. He’s the kindest man ever. I hope to thank him in person before I’m gone. You’re in the best hands with this excellent Doctor.
